Here you can discuss the In's-and-Out's of IEP's. What are the positives? What are the negatives? What was your experience with getting one for your child? What were the challenges? Has it made a difference for the better, worse or not at all? How does someone go about getting an IEP? Who can they talk to? Ask questions and get answers from others who have already gone through the process.
Please feel free to share stories, experiences, important milestones or ask questions about what you have seen or hope to see your child doing at certain points in their lives. Please include the age your child is (or was, especially if you are discussing milestones) in relation to what it is you are talking or asking about.
Ask for or share advice on how to put a stop to bullying and harassment. This applies for both children and adults, alike.
What do you find your children getting stuck on? What are the types of things that they can't seem to let go of? What is it that seems to consume their thoughts? A hobby? A habit? A character in pop culture? An unhealthy fixation? Have you ever needed to help them break free of such intrusive thoughts? If so, what has worked? What hasn't?
